If you want to book a table email us as here

Thanks go out to Lisa, David and Sarah who have spent all weekend helping us to get ready. Also to some of our regulars, Jonny, Steve, James and Phil who helped us with the new Marquee. We got it up just in time, despite the efforts of UPS to thwart us by losing one of the packages!

Looking forward to seeing you all again and hoping that the Government Roadmap doesn’t take a wrong turn and we are all back to “normal” by the end of June. Stay safe and healthy!

BTW..the Marquee has been fully road tested, and beer tastes fine wherever you sit!

Finally, good luck to all the local pubs and shops that re-open their doors tomorrow. Please support us and we will do our best to keep you safe and satisfied!

Countdown to Stage 2…

Boris has given the green light for outside drinking on Monday 12th April. To prepare for the big day we need you to help us clear down the cask ales so we have fresh beer on!

Brush up on your 4C’s…

Citra Columbus, Chinook, Centennial

Freshly tapped: IPA 4C from Kernel Brewery

“4C is a superb IPA that smells of crates of clementines and warm marshmallow. There’s a sticky, gooey, fluffy thing in the malts too, as well as being chewy with toffee and crunchy with cereal bars. And then there are the hops. They’re sherbet coated tangerine segments, lime leaves and garden shrubbery, gunky woody resin and sharp as a tack lemon pips. The result is that 4C has a finish that’s beautifully balanced between tongue coating oily honey sweetness and huge punch-your-lights-out dry bitterness.”

Fresh for the Weekend…

New beers for this Saturday’s delivery: a single hop pale using Bru-1 from Quantock and an award winning Oyster Stout from Hammerton

For the full list see here

Just a reminder that we cannot leave deliveries on the doorstep so we need to ensure that you are at home when we deliver!

Obsessed With Bru-1

A new hop for Quantock delivering a huge tropical punch followed by notes of green apple. A rewarding sip every time.

Oyster Stout

In 1938 the Hammerton was famous for being the first in the world to use Oysters as part of the brewing process. In this new recipe we’ve used a variety of flavoursome malts, including a good dose of oats. Fresh wild Maldon oysters are then added to the boil to add a subtle extra complexity to the taste of this stout. CAMRA Champion Beer of London ‘Stout’ winner & ‘Overall’ runner-up.

On the 12th Day of April…

Yes, we are re-opening our doors on the 12th April, assuming everything goes according to the Government roadmap.

We aim to open at 12 noon on the 12th April and after that will try to return to our regular hours albeit that we will be taking last orders at 9.30pm and closing at 10pm every night in respect of our neighbours. Keep an eye on our website and social media for more information.

We are taking bookings for the 12th April onwards and you can email us here; just let us know the date, time, number on party and approx. length of stay.

We look forward to seeing you all again and we are already planning events for when things are back to normal!
